Privacy Statement – ATTENDANT (Consumer)

For us at RELEVANT the customer is at the center of what we do. Therefore, we put much emphasis on how we gather, respect, use, and disclose your information. We would like our customers to always feel well informed. With such goal in mind, we have prepared the statement below in a manner to be clear and straightforward as possible.
RELEVANT develops mobile applications that provide intelligent solutions to multidimensional problems. In particular, we have created several Services that allow our users to have access to information about their assets or property, as well as to store new information as it becomes available. Also, we provide them with access to relevant notices and news that are specific to their assets or property. The primary objective of our business is to provide the best possible service to our customers.
This Privacy Statement describes how and when RELEVANT collects, uses and shares your information when you use our Services. RELEVANT receives your information through our various virtual cards, websites, APIs, email notifications, applications, buttons, widgets, ads, and commerce services (the “Services”) and from our partners and other third parties. For example, you send us information when you use your Attendant Card or access any of our Services from your personal computer, or any mobile device. When using any of our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Statement. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize RELEVANT to use your information in the United States and any other country where RELEVANT operates.
A. Information Collection and Use
Account Information: When you create or reconfigure one of our customer accounts, you provide some personal information, such as your name, password, e-mail address, and, in some instances, your mobile phone number.
Additional Information: You also may provide us with some profile information such as your location or a picture. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services or to market to you. You may use your account settings to unsubscribe from receiving push notifications or notifications in general. You may choose to share your address book, and any other information embedded with your profile, if you sign up with your Facebook or Google+ account. We may later make suggestions to you and other users based on imported address book contacts. If you e-mail us, or contact us through the Support Form on our website, we may keep your message, e-mail address and contact information to respond to your request. All the information collected from you is deleted within a few weeks, after ceasing to use our Services for one full calendar year. Providing the additional information described in this section is entirely optional.
Other Usage Information: The use of our Services may create many bits of information related to when and how you use all the features our Services provide. We may use this information to customize content we show you, including ads. Our Services may broadly and instantly disseminate some or all of your Usage Information to our partners and other third parties.
Location Information: Your computer or mobile device sends us location information. We may also use other data from your device to determine location, for example, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Services, and to improve and customize the Services, for example, with more relevant content like local news, stories, ads, and offers.
Links: RELEVANT may keep track of how you interact with links across our Services, including our email notifications, third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Services, to provide more relevant advertising, and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.
Log Data: When you use our Services, we may receive information (“Log Data”) such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web pages, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information (including device and application IDs), search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our websites, sign into our Services, or interact with our e-mail. RELEVANT uses Log Data to provide, understand, and improve our Services. We will either delete Log Data or remove any common account identifiers, such as your username, full IP address, or e-mail address, after 18 months.
Commerce Services: You may provide your payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address (collectively, “Payment Information”), along with your shipping address, to complete a commerce transaction using any of our Services. You may also provide your credit or debit card number to register for card-linked services, such as offers. We consider your Payment Information and shipping address private and do not make such information public. We collect and store information created by any electronic commerce transaction to the extent it is necessary to complete such electronic commerce transaction.
Third-Parties and Affiliates: RELEVANT uses a variety of third-party services to help provide our Services, such as news and additional content embedded, and to help us understand and improve the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address. Third-party ad partners may share information with us, like a browser cookie ID, website URL visited, mobile device ID, or cryptographic hash of a common account identifier (such as an email address), to help us measure and tailor ads. We may also receive information about you from our corporate affiliates in order to help provide, understand, and improve our Services and our affiliates’ services, including the delivery of ads.
Customer Support: When you contact our customer support services, we may have access to your Account Information, Additional Information, and any other information that we may need to categorize your question, respond to it, and, if applicable, investigate any breach of our Terms and Conditions or this Privacy Statement. We also use this information to track potential problems and trends and customize our support responses to better serve you. We do not use this information for advertising.
B. Information Sharing / Disclosure
RELEVANT does not disclose your private personal information except in the limited circumstances described here.
Your Consent: We may share or disclose your information at your direction, where and when you indicate to us, following your explicit order or as the result of authorizing us through your actions when interacting with our Services.
Service Providers: We engage service providers to perform functions and provide services to us in the United States and abroad. We may share your private personal information with such service providers subject to confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Statement, and on the condition that the third parties use your private personal data only on our behalf and pursuant to our instructions. We share your Payment Information with payment services providers to process payments; prevent, detect and investigate fraud or other prohibited activities; facilitate dispute resolution such as chargebacks or refunds; and for other purposes associated with the acceptance of credit or debit cards. We may share your credit or debit card number with payment services providers, or third parties authorized by them, to monitor card transactions at participating merchants and track redemption activity for the purposes of providing card-linked services.
Law and Harm: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Statement, we may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena); to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect RELEVANT’s rights of property. However, nothing in this Privacy Statement is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government request to disclose your information.
Business Transfers and Affiliates: In the event that RELEVANT is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sales of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Statement will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity. We may also disclose information about you to our corporate affiliates (meaning entities controlled by, controlling or under common control with RELEVANT) in order to help provide, understand, and improve our Services and our affiliates’ services, including the delivery of ads.
Non-Private or Non-Personal Information: We may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-personal information, such as the number of users who clicked on a particular link (even if only one did), or reports to advertisers about unique users who saw or clicked on their ads after we have removed any private personal information (such as your name or contact information). We may provide our partners or advertisers about the reach and effectiveness of their advertising without providing information specific to you.
Surveys and Polls: Surveys and Polls may be conducted by us or third parties. We may use third parties to deliver incentives to you to participate in surveys and polls. If the delivery of incentives requires your contact information, you may be asked to provide personal information to the third party fulfilling the incentive offer, which will be used only for the purpose of delivering incentives and verifying your contact information. It is up to you whether you provide this information, or whether you desire to take advantage of an incentive.
Data Transfer and Processing: We may transfer your information and process it outside your country of residence, wherever RELEVANT, its affiliates and service providers operate.
C. Modifying Your Personal Information
If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with tools and account settings to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account.
You can also permanently delete your RELEVANT account. For up to 30 days after deactivation it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated. After 30 days, we begin the process of deleting your account from our systems, which can take up to a week.
D. Policy Towards Children
Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years old. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at email@example.com. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years old. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.
E. EU Safe Harbor Framework
RELEVANT complies with the U.S. – E.U. and U.S. – Swiss Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement, as set out by the Department of Commerce.
F. Changes to this Statement
We may revise this Privacy Statement from time to time. The most current version of the statement will govern our use of your information and will always be at https://relevant.works/privacy. If we make a change to this statement that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via an update to your card or email to the email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Statement.
